Hello! To begin with, can you introduce each members of Slaktattack and tell us what old or actual other bands of each are?!
Yxan – vocals. Previous bands: F.U.C.T. and Bloomcore.

Krea – guitar. Previous bands: Bloomcore, Jaffa De Luxe and a lot of other bands. Besides Slaktattack he also plays guitar in a band called Tread New Traumas.

Nippa – bass, previous bands: The Amazing Pinheads, Dreadache & Ändådajm.

Domarn – guitar. Previous bands: At The Gates, House Of Usher. Besides Slaktattack he plays in a band called This Quiet Earth.

Svanne – guitar. Born and raised in Slaktattack. No other bands now or before.

Plytet – Drums. Previous bands: The Amazing Pinheads & Werewolves.

Since how long have you played together? How did you meet?

What's the signification of the name and why do you choose it?
Well it’s basically just a name. It doesn’t mean anything really. Slakt means Slaughter. Krea just fought it sounded cool.

Can you explain the lyrics of your split 7' because I have some problem with Swedish language!
OK, here we go:

När Hatet Är Totalt –Total Hate. It’s about hard drugs and what they can do to a persons mind. And how people in their surroundings can be really hurt.

Evigt Lidande – Eternal Suffering. A song about how we all feel sometimes. Everything seems pointless and nobody can understand you.

Systemkollaps – System Collapse. Well, the title pretty much tells you what the song is about: broken promises by the fuckers that runs the country.

Materiell Tristess – Material Boredom. It’s about the way people try to fill the emptiness in their lives with stuff in lack of a meaningful life.

De Sista Raderna – The Last Lines. A song about dealing with the fact that we live in a wealthy country but we still can suffer on a personal level.

Förlista Själar – Shipwrecked Souls. Just a song about those days when everything feels so fucking pointless.

How is the scene in your city/country? What are the good bands actually or past?
Well, there’s is a lot of great bands in our city (Gothenburg) and in the rest of the country. The scene is OK but more gigs wouldn’t hurt. I’ll namedrop a few Good bands in Göteborg (Gothenburg): Anatomi-71, Illdåd, Motorbreath & Fredag Den 13:e. Rest of the country: Nödslakt, M:40, Massgrav, Mob 47, Aktiv Dödshjälp, Kvoteringen & Sprängd.

How do you explain that it is a lot of good bands of fast music in Sweden?! Is it because of the climate?!!
I think it can have something to do with the climate, yes. We have summer here for about 3 months. The rest of the year it’s either raining or snowing and quite cold. Other then that I just think it’s in our veins.

Which change noted since the creation of the European union? Have you to impression to live better or less? What thinks older people about that?
For the people in general there’s no change that we notice. The only thing now is that we can import booze legally. I don’t know what the older people think since I don’t know any. I think all members of the band voted no to E.U. mainly because of the fact that our government already controls us. It feels weird that other countries should make decisions about for example how big a cucumber should be in Sweden. But now we never think about it. Life goes on.

Do you feel the climatic changes in Sweden? Are there obvious impacts on your local eco-system?
I’m not sure. Sometimes you think it’s getting warmer and that the winter now is the same as fall but then scientists say that we had winters and temperatures like that one hundred years ago too, so I don’t know. About the eco-system: probably, but I can’t give you any example due my lack of knowledge in that subject area.

Are you optimistic about the future of the human race or on earth in general?
No. How can anyone be optimistic about that? We have, are and will keep on destroying the planet. Unfortunately, too many people are egocentric fucking assholes.
